Naruto Rp: The discussion.

Ok, this is an OOC board for an as of yet none existent naruto Rp. We all know we want one Me and NinjaSteve have been pondering over the aspects of this for a while, but really it comes down to what we all want otherwise it'll be an awful Rp with just me and ninjasteve posting. So here's a few things to get us started. What world/universe should we have it in; Alt uni, canon, different world? Should the villages be the same? Do you want to pwnage right from the beginning or flesh out your characters more? Personally, and I think NinjaSteve agrees with most of this. I would like an Alt Universe, with the same villages, and our characters should start off weak(ish) and we build them up. Of course there would be a time skip in the near future so the Rp doesn't just drag forever with us waiting to become pwnage. Discuss.....

I think everyone should be on the same side initially. If everyone is scattered the rp will probibly die soon after starting. What i was wondering was what our rules on kekkai genkai should be.

ive thought further on this and got my char sorted

we should have it around the begining of the chunin exams the eliminations rounds, begin fighting npcs then others

then have a time skip shortly after that

I agree that we should all start off quite weak and then progress, and i think that in the future that keke genkkis should either not be allowed OR there should at least be something to restrain people from using them unfairly, because otherwise it'll get boring and people will get bored of the whole thing rather quickly.

They don't always and i dunno about that.why reward people for playing villains when we need a balance and not every villain is ultra powerfull

if you have a kekkai genkai, you should be bad at otehr things to balancve your character so youre not ultimastly invincible

I have a few ideas for genin characters if anyone would like a team mate rped by me Plus I have a jounin teacher, right now I have him as the Suna team leader, but does anyone else want to grab him?

As I said Mizo, I have a large Roster of characters who can be used as Jonin Sensei, Villains, Team Mates or just random Village Ninja.

I'm currently trying to muster the motivation to write up a full and detailed character sheet for the main character I want to use but if you'd like I could send you a list of all the characters available for you to use with brief descriptions and then give you detailed character sheets of the one's you or anyone else finds interesting/wants to use?

That'd be proper good Kage. I'd rather you focus all your energy on your main character first though, so you can get posting. Cheers buddeh.
